Anyway, Thursday I got Zid back. So happy, the rollback took 1 week 2 days.

I was trying to find out when I was rolled back to, but it can't have been more then 2 days, I lost a little AN and a merit and my augment ;_; Going to need to do that again, lucky I've still got the thing to pop it.


Anyway, not going to babble much more. Expect an epic update when I get photoshop back installed!

Ok so the past few days have been so fucked up.

Besides stress building up, shit going on, etc.
I get hacked.
I have to format my computer losing -every- ffxi memory.
Power went out.
My great uncle had health scare while paying respect at a family get-together for my grandads birthday who recently passed away.
Power out again.
I get sick from the meal we have while celebrating his memory.
Pisses it down every day since I was hacked.
My brothers content ID's expire not long after arriving at Behemoth.

I don't want to turn on any of my consoles, or do anything really. Expecting it to go wrong or break.
I hope it all turns around when 9am hits today/tomorrow kind of, but yeah, what can I say.

Some info about how I was hacked.
Firstly I was dumb and used IE brousing some FFXI sites, FFXI-Atlas, FFXIAH and Wiki.
One of them or all of them helped in infecting me with 2 trogans.

One was a trogan horse and the other was a worm cluster.
Win32:Jomloon-B [Trj] which was hiding in.. c:\system Volume information\_restore{A6AD9DC6-B03E-484C-B79A-257BD458D2B4}\RP343\A0073857.dll
And..
Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}, which was the worm. I tried to remove it but after the first attempt, it was like hitting a bee hive with a stick and standing there. It started to clone, dupe itself, by the second scan there were 8 files, which they kept going, hiding in recovery data and what not.

All this ended up in me wiping and formatting my HD, since formatting, I've not even downloaded anything for IE, only firefox, blocking the shit out of everything. My hopes lay with getting Zidiane back as fast as possible, which im going to be very pissed off if I've got to wait along time, im already going insane using my brothers toon. Its low level, no mages, yeah.. things nightmares are made of, already started to level his whm, haha.

Fuck, sleepy, maint started 15 mins before I was kicked off, yet I can hardly sleep, worry and yeah.. sad isn't it?

Longest period of not updating ever, I think.
Anyway heres one! I tried another Lamia+1 Bow, after my last failure, this time I had a taru friend making sure I didn't die.

I sucked at the fight, sponged a hell of alot, hey it did have shock spikes! /dodge
Not what I wanted but im not going to complain, the fire resistance isn't bad and the int makes it more Rdm friendly, except I have P.Tathlum.
I'm more so glad it has no - stats on it...  like -vit or hp or whatever.

Tempted to try my HQ Thunder/Ice staves, not sure I want to try all of mine since.. I don't really want to ruin any, but we'll see, im rather lazy doing FoV, lacking tabs to spam them that often.

Besides that, I started a new Pet for pankration, a Dark Elemental, although it sucks, its free Jettons for camera. Which before the ZNM update I blew Jettons on the new hats and wasted about 20k of them sooo... Restocking isn't bad.
My old imp pet I still have, although no one uses chigoes anymore really.. so its a waste, too weak to beat general mobs, unless its a fluke win.

Mini-update, I'll do a big one when I can get my head around it.

Epic nm fight, I say epic because for the last 10-15% I was sitting at 2 hp while it spammed his fin moves, and even one time S.mantle proc'd during this time. Finally killing it for the sweet, sweet reward made me laugh alot.

Nin has been fun to play around on, I still keep forgetting about the new abilites, since they help eva and thats one thing I rely on, on this type of mob. (My nin is like, solo, duo, fun type thing, not hnm tank >p), so also, in the last week I've picked up something I should of camped along time ago, and I do enjoy it alot.

Joyeuse, loving it on Pld, even on war a bit but not because of the dmg, because its basically.. crazy swords. Loving it on Pld mostly and Rdm, since I got savage blade recently also, which makes for sc fun and things get more interesting. Campaign is more fun now, on Rdm or Pld.

I need to unlock the rdm mythic ws sometime, it looks rather fun to play around with, hopefully with Joy it doesn't take too long. >D

Another mini update, I'll do a big one soon, things on my mind, can't focus on this for too long.

No, its not my spelling.
So, with the new FoV stuff and being able to augment up to level 75 equip, I chose my Lamia bow to try.. HQ.. worth 900-1m.
I head to sky and guess what? I've heard of others poppping with 6 shadows.. and other things but I went on pld/rdm.. thinking easy solo, it pops with En-silence, landing every hit. I used fealty but still.. wasn't enough, so I basically threw away 1m. Went and re-bought a new bow, would of been cool not to lose my current but yeah, shit happens.

I've 1.1k tabs left, I'd like to try one or two things but really not in the mood for it, none of the stats are really game breaking and the chances to spoil equip are well..high.., tempting to do my HQ thunder, Ice and Water staffs though.

Something not so dumb, an app I recently downloaded, instead of searching youtube for a track I want to listen to, or a channel with a set of songs, I downloaded this. http://www.spotify.com/en/
Which basically is.. Amazing, it doesn't have every song but still, most from the english speaking side, a few jp songs too. Its quite nice and the thing what shocks me the most is.. its so fast, search for a song, get the list, click the song and its playing, no buffer time, no nothing.
Its pretty cool and hardly uses up any memory or bandwidth.

More of an update later, just a short story type thing atm.

Recent events have me looking at things quite differently, its hard to explain fully without going into details I'd rather not. It feels like i've gotten older without much time passing, as in..  the way I think about things. I suck at the deep and meaningful so I'll end this topic here, its just one of those events which make you grow up and realise things, reality check kind of, but not in a bad way, this was in a very positive way.  The thing which means the most to me, means even more to me.

I've been busy still with IRL, family will be family and they will enjoy to fight no matter what, they couldn't even hold it off for a single day to remember one amazing mans life. Which is sad and pathetic, but still I shouldn't expect much of my family. Guilt trips, fights, arguments, family saying they'll never talk tothe other half, the usual crap. Its all sad and pathetic.

Saying that on the actual day, a few of us, mainly me, my brother and two of my cousins had some fun, there was a park outside we would play on when we were little, although its changed alot, being the only one not drunk, I was able to get them to do stupid stuff.

So moving on from that, FFXI and some other things.

Lately in XI, there was an update, which happens every so often, which SE said they would never stop. I'll hold them to this :p
So, we finally got the body pieces which iron ram, really nice!
The stats on it really make it one of the best Pld bodies, +32hp, +6EMN + 5 MDB.

Things to add to the picture now, I sucked it up and got a terror shield, which I'm liking alot. Its noticeable difference from Koenig.
We had the northlands added which was very nice, although i've only peaked into one of the zones, they look very fun and lots of mobs to aggro, wonderful!

Also, since i've started XI, i've been slow to get any WS's completed, since starting, I've done black halo and atonement but not i've a 3rd! Savage blade.

Yes, I have been playing around with plasticsurgeon again. But hey, it looks good!
Lacking one thing now only really for Pld which is that damn blue sword I can't be arsed to camp, argh, maybe one day. When im not to tired or finding anything else to possibly do rather then going to camp it.

So, I've missed out quite alot of the version update info, its good and bad, they've added more missions which I've not finished the old ones yet, but it doesn't seem any any killer reward yet, i'll wait to see prob in 6 months time when they finish it what it really is. I really wish there was another expansion as hard as CoP was. Everything seems so easy from these later ones.

They added a new series of weapons, Fae weapons, which you can augument, adding stats to, sadly you can not pick these so its trial and error to get a weapon which you like. Their are one good ones, like the bow, but I think I'll wait and see what others get before I try for any myself, the fights are said to be rather fun.

They added a crappy thing called Union, where you can get rewards from campaign, which its literally a cluster-fcuk of people getting into one alliance, boosting the total An/Exp for higher rewards then freelot between them, sometimes you can get dyna currency, others rare items. This really does kill the areas off where people like to do for lag free campaign, which lately even those areas have been covered with lag or Idiots. So once every now and again you're lucky to lot 950+ you might get a dyna coin or something nice. Thanks SE for spoiling campaign, it was really fun and relaxing before.

Last few things, Sandy got spliting heirs again. So I went to do some, but something weird happened, other groups were getting 3 adds, the usual, but we kept only getting 2. We only lost to one of them which was very nice, only 2 mantles total out of who knows how many runs, not the best, no sash's at all, seems they nerfed the drop rate.

Also been doing more FoV then normal, they added it so we can augument all of our none ex or signed equip, which is making for some quite broken pieces, but more on that next time, if I get around to doing anything :p

Other then all that stuff, just been hanging out ingame, relaxing and having fun.
The last thing is, IRL i've managed to put some weight on, before I used to get called from my brother 'skinny ass white boy' (Makes no sense, he is a chav after all) and tin ribs off my mom, but now no more! As im now a healthy weight and I can no longer see my ribs! Which makes me very very happy, feels so much nicer then before. Not skipping meals anymore either now also, which is nice ;p Maybe i've more reason to eat now.

Well, first thing I guess.
After screwing up my sword of trials the first time around, this time I didn't! I've the key item to pop it, I just need go and kill the NM, which is a lovely and I mean lovely walk and a half to open the damn door to get into the room. So maybe I'll find some time and finish it off, i've the part I hate the most out of the way.

Second thing! Been doing La Vaule Nms again, low man this last time, doing Mnk with 4 people really is fun when it starts to charm. I didn't even notice the mnk had 2hr'd til I was in red lol, might of been quite distracted :x
This is the bugger.

Had Pld/nin, Rdm/whm, Sam/Nin and Rng/Nin. Took a while to bring him down but was a EES finish in the end. Fun none the less.

I'll go over them tho; From A-Z..

Starting with:
All-Seeing Onyx Eye, Sch, Spawns at (J-11).
This NM is annoying, its a eye type with a gaze charm every 5 seconds. You have to tank it backwards and also deal with the level 5 petri which resets hate. Its ideal to pull him away from his spawn into the river more since there is a Malbro where he spawns. Its quite a slow fight and can get messy with charm if things start to go wrong. Its a sch so some of its spells go AoE, its tier 4's don't but on its '2hr' it'll start to cast AoE AM1, which rather hurts, you don't want anyone in AoE besides the tank when it casts. Also the Eyes cast time gets quicker as % gets lower, so be careful. If MP ever gets low, he is easily kited along the river if you're doing it with low #s.

Cogtooth Skagnogg, Rng, Warmachine Spawns at (I-9).
Two places you can fight it, either in the river right by the spawn point or by the zone line to La Vaule, honestly the zone line is the safest one because of the ability to zone hate. From a tanking point of view, he doesn't melee at all, and if you wear MDT- and MDB+ equip, he hits like a wimp. You can fight him JoL style and have every DD from afar, Tear grenade is the only really annoying attack of his. From a DD point of view, go until you pull hate and zone it, this NM doesn't last long at all.

Coinbiter Cjaknokk, Drk, Spawns at (F-6).
I hate this NM, firstly it'll try keep up dread spikes all the time, secondly it'll spawn shoulder charge, which lessens your hate and also adds defense down, which when spammed can make for a really messy right. Limiting its TP is ideal, and DD's with Nin sub. Pulling it is also something else I hate, since it really loves the crowd with the other Orcs. Having to either take it to a zone or clear/sac him to a camp SE of his spawn.
If the tank can keep up and not get hit that much with shoulder charge then its a quick and easy fight, but yeah, you can guess what happens if they can't. >D

Falsespinner Bhudbrodd, Mnk, Spawns at (E-8).
Last one I'll do for this update since I hate these wall of texts, you can pull him to the river close by, you just need to pray the Orcs deaggro if you're doing it low #s. You'll sac/pull him off the bridge near the BC area, and fight him down the river. (Down it because if charm hits all, then you'll be walked back to his spawn point, lol)
Keeping him dotted is always needed under 50% since thats when he can start to charm, which can drag out this fight, other then his charm the NM is rather easy. He is also largely kiteable in the river since at this end of it, there is lots and lots and LOTS of space. He does use Hundred fists, but you can either sent/invince/kite/ w/e, its not really an issue, the charm is more of a problem.

Now off SHNM and onto other things, pet job fun lately, recently I've been able to use my smn again (Yay, its actually a fun job), but I've been using it on Xolotl as part of a duo or Trio+, with Kaita's Bst and sometimes Nat or smashed's bst's aswell. The job can be played so many ways, and you've access to so many spells if you use the avatars correctly, i.e Smn can dispel, Fenrir's Lunar roar. Can grav with levi or diabolos, etc, the list goes on, and they can also DD (Pro of using it on Xolotl is, imune to charm). Strange thing is, I saw so many kote drop, which I'm used to seeing only the hat drop. We also got a dagger for Tiki's thf.

Besides that Smn has little uses which makes me sad, other then sitting afk with puppy(Fenrir) or carby out in some zone.

Besides camps and what not, nothing else been really going on, I'm missing doing salvage now, since the times it seems im awake for it, people aren't online, I guess its the way XI is going now.

Where to start this one off, I'd guess with the new hat! Well not totally new, more like sticking a feather in a old hat, to make a totally new hat! Here it is as well! It dropped in Dyna which no one ended up commenting it, so it ended up freelot 75 to those who have the hat, which I ended up winning, so a thanks goes out to thosegirls :p White border effect gooooo :<


Besides the hat, i've finally switched over from 6 line bs to windower macros. I've only managed to re-do Pld, Blm and Rdm with still lacking several things but as it stands, I am much more comfortable with my macros now then I was. I can actually do everything I wanted without losing my mind hitting 4 macros to do one job.  There is alot to do for me still, but I think its actually made my mages.. even more fun, is that possible?! Still to re-do bard,  add in ele debuff set to blm, finish solo/support sets on rdm, etc, etc, lots to do still.

So besides the hat and macros, whats new? Epic failure today by me. So I always take ages to break weapons, besides atonement for Pld. Now I had been for along time breaking my sword of trials, today I go skill up in the tree with Dw and after a few sc's it breaks. Some time later I get back to sandy, happily go and trade my sword to the npc to get my manual and guess what? In the time of breaking it, i've some how canceled the quest and now I have to break an entire new sword. I'm so smart ^-^.

Other then that, I screwed my foot up.. badly, on sunday I was made to use it alot at my grandads helping him out do things in the garden, lets say its not a hell of alot worse, going to the doctors tomorrow, hopefuly get something to make the swelling go down. I've already been to the hospital about it and they did pretty much nothing, but it was only A&E, rush in,rush out.. and by rush I mean 2 and a half hours, lol. Hurts to walk, move it, etc, and I did it by messing around jumping over something I really shouldn't of, lol.

Ok so as I said I'd edit this, so here it is, lately we've been doing alot of farming in beadeaux [s], which is nice and all but last night we went to La vaule [s], farming the orcs... Well I say orcs, the nms we got were Drg (Orc), All seeing onyx eye (Eye, duh), A rng type giga and uh, the gnoll dude.

Ok so some notes on them, quick style, I'll go over these plus beadeaux ones in an updates time or so.

Draketrader Zlodgodd, Dragoon, spawns at (G-7).
Pullable to the entrance, with the trainer zoning the adds, a sleeper for the two tigers is nice so the puller will live. The Nm will lose aggro easily so it'll need someone to keep pulling it back, usually the tank.
His jump attack which starts off weak, but gets stronger and stronger as his % goes down, it also gets more frequent, hard to straight tank, easy to kite. Kiteable at the zone line and also just outside of the gate, if the time of day permits. Slow fight, but easy if kited. Hard to DD it with standard melee jobs, as ws's can be lost as soon as it jumps.


All-Seeing Onyx Eye, Scholar, spawns at (J-11).
Killable where it pops, tanking it backwards to avoid the charm. There seemed to be some sort of hate reset, mostly on petrify. The AoE spells aren't that much of an issue, I didn't get to see its 2hr which was quite disapointing, AoE AM its meant to be. It didn't seem to cast much and is easily stunable.

Rugaroo, Monk, spawns at (H-10).
Besides its spam of intimidation and weak asuran claws, this nm is a total joke, Pld tank makes light work of it, and the pull isn't hard either, a pld can run the adds and the Nm to the lake, jumping off the bridge just west? of the spawn, into the river (This will cause all adds to deaggro and despawn). Really nothing complex or diffucult about this guy.

Agrios, Ranger, spawns at (H-6).
Not a hard NM, easy to blink tank, when it lands with a ranged attack though it seems to reset or just spike loss of hate. Slow/Elegy land no problem, it only seemed to use its daunting hurl at low %, which really does hurt, esp with  the hate reset. Besides the messy hate, its not a bad fight.

Then last but not least, the last mog bonanza. I only won rank 5, although twice so it wasn't bad. I picked these two, as alot of people got statues :p

So in usual 'how high can you jump?' style, Me and a friend Kisho (Aka Neogeo) set each other a challenge.
We set the bar at the 3k mark and our target faf,

X1 Thunder weather + Day, No food (Roar'd) and no spirit lantern. U.pendant was active as well as sorc though.
Nearly there, 24 dmg off.. With Melon+1 which I -had- on before it was roar'd off, I would of broke 3k >D

One day I'll have a chance at this again:p Funny how before I said about not getting to MB on blm lately, then this :)
